About PAM 111 rumors

Hi guys
I had a PAM 111 and I sold it almost new and buy me a new Rolex Sub. But I felt better with the leather bracelet and now I'm looking back up for a 111 but as I had used. The question is that I read that there were some problems with that watch...you heard anything about that? Be true or rumors? The time I had mine not only no problems but it was an incredible accuracy.I really was looking for a 392 or 312 because I like and think is necessary the Date function but right now my budget does not allow me this.

Problems with the 111? Uh, no. Workhouse top grade ETA.

If you really want a date, you might find a used 312 or 104 isn't too far out of range.

The only problem with the 111 or any PAM is the strap addiction that comes with it!

You're right but the 104 I do not like cyclope. I really like the 312 but I found another model 392 worth 6% less and is 42 mm. I'm going to a Panerai boutique nearby my home in the mall of Bal Harbour FL and I'll try to see the two together to compare how the size difference looks. The characteristics of the two watches are the same.
Thank you again.

Why are you looking for a G? I think this year is no sandwich? Worth it anymore?
Cheers....

"Worth it" is subjective, of course. For some, the painted dial, finer movement detailing and exclusivity are three big positives over later series.

The cyclops is a sore point for many. I like the balance it gives the dial across from the seconds hand, but it does seem like the vast majority are not fans.

Good luck with the hunt! Taking the time and trying models is definitely the way to go.
