Such a waste, IMHO, you can build one for about $20-25k

Sure could. You could put an S&S drivetrain or similar for that much and enjoy it more than once a year that way too

You betcha, I have a 88" Pandemonium engine that a buddy bought for a project and then ran into hard times. He bought it from J&P cycles for around $7,500 with shipping and I scooped it up for $5k in the hopes of someday building a old skool, springer style bobber...

It's in a crate, but maybe I'll pull it out this weekend and take some pics, it looks pretty cool....

This is the part I'm wondering about:

Quote:
Haggerty has acknowledged that he authenticated and sold two "Captain America" bikes.

But he said before the sale that just one was legitimate — Eisenberg's.
I'd be more than a little upset if I was the buyer of the illegitimate one.

Good God, what a price. To be honest I watched the film for the first time about ten years ago. I didn't "get it" at all.

The film is about seeking externally what you need to seek inside yourself. It's not quite as culturally nihilistic as some have made it out to be.
