Should I flip my DJII Fluted WG for..
So after owning the DJII Fluted WG bezel for about a year. I love the watch it's beautiful but I find the 41mm a little too big for my small wrist.
I have an itch for a new watch. SS Daytona Black dial or TT GMT ii Black dial. Which watch would look better with suits and is more dressy? I already have a SubC for everyday casual wear. Budget 11-12k, or any other recommendations? Thanks TRF! |

Btw those two, Daytona for what you want it for, for sure. It's a great watch! Pre-congrats.

Go for it!
I, too, think the DJ2 41mm is too big, too blingy, esp w the white gold bezel. Gorgeous watch though. |

Why not glue the two together, I love my one of these, for me it has more colour than a SS Daytona.
GMT and Sub do have similarities the Daytona is a little different.

By your description, the Daytona will fit your desires. I would try one on for sure first.

I have very small wrists and the Daytona fits me very well. Buy one. And later you can switch out dials if you decide to. But you MUST try on a couple, even in different metals, just to see which dial style is easiest to read.

TT GMT... but if you go the Daytona route, look into TT there as well as some others have suggested.

The Daytona is only 1mm smaller than the DJII, so little difference on a small wrist.
If you need to time events get the Daytona. If you need to know time in different parts of the world get the GMTIIc. Have fun choosing. |

Sounds like Daytona for you. The sub is too near the GMT and the new TT GMT actually feels bigger than the sub. For dress the Daytona is the way to go. The Daytona feels smaller than 40mm while the GMT feels a bit larger than 40.

I agree with all the Daytona suggesters...as to the metal or the dial, that you're going to have to try a few on and see...

I'll go against the grain and suggest a black dial SS GMT-II. I happen to think the Daytona is too sporty, whereas the SS GMT dresses up or down as the situation warrants. Of course, I may be a bit biased since my black bezel SS GMT-II is my absolute favorite watch.
