Hmmm, I'm sure others will be along soon to help, but I can tell you from the photo that this watch has an 'engine-turned' stainless bezel, and NOT a fluted (white gold in this case) bezel as the ad indicates.

Also "1600" series watch" is a bit vague. It's a DJ 16220. The movement has 27 jewels, it says, so the Cal. is 3035. The endpieces look odd, though. Endpieces type 501B should not have those cut-out sections. They're not necessary with a lug holes case. Somehow I think I would pass on that one, too.

It looks OK enough, I suppose, but the engine turned bezel was usually only on the Date model (I think) and not the Datejust.
I'm not entirely sure that it is a Datejust. The case does look a bit like the Date model (narrower with more finely tapered lugs), but I may be wrong - I wonder, whether the dial has been replaced? As Bo has said, 16000 sounds a bit vague for the model number anyway. Could be genuine, but I think I'd go for another, even though the price is tempting.
