114060 or the Hulk?
Hi everyone, I just made a simple thread to know what you guys think between these two, I know it's 2 very different subs, but after having the sub C LN, flipped, now have the Hulk already 2 weeks, and it's strange but I saw it many times on people and loved how it looked, but now that I have it I wonder if it's the watch for me, have already 2, a Daytona 116515, and a Patek 5712.
I am leanong to getting a 114060, but am going to wait a while before getting it, when I got the Daytona which I really liked I practically never put it, maybe 5 times the first month, and after that it stayed in the bank safe for months, even wanted to flip it, so maybe after a while the Hulk is going to grow on me as well. Thanks for your advices guys |

I really like the HULK...But I'm kind of partial to the 114060! I just love the classic, timeless look!

IMHO It's possible to live without the LV-C but it's impossible not to own a 114060.

Hulk, hands down. Two factors, make that 3 factors:
1) Green color is gorgeous and it stands apart from the endless sea of black Subs. If you are a traditionalist, go black, if you have a rebellious streak, go green. 2) Date is a complication and highly useful. Yes, you can look at your phone. But anyone who has a date watch will attest to its periodic usefulness. 3) Finally, the Cyclops. It really makes the sub a Sub. You either love cyclops or hate them. I would not own a Sub without one. I will be the first to admit that WIS tend to like the no date, but I'm a WIS rebel. A member of the radical splinter group of Cyclops lovers. As a group we are small, elite, and like it that way. |

I admit that the date factor is far from useless as I use it very often. |

You already had the SubC LN and flipped, aren't to happy with the Hulk, you probably won't like the 114060 either, it's very similar to the subcLN? Maybe your just not a sub fan

Well, it depends but for me there is no contest here, LVc hands down like 6:30.
I try not to say this because it assumes people are just rich and have nothing to do with their money except buy watches but both really would be great here. My solution were I you would be to just save my pennies and scoop up a nice lnib 14060M. Those can be had for a decent price, worst case would be to just add the 114060. Now, I sense doubt in your post. If you have officially fell out with the LVc then that's a different story, no sense keeping something you don't like. |

The novelty of the LVC wore off on me quickly, and was flipped within 3 months. I'd personally take the 114060.
But you may want to try a watch outside of the sub family if two of them haven't appealed to you. |

As you have 2 others and maybe another coming, as per Jorge's rules, I would keep the LVc or trade for a Bluesy and have a sunburst dial rather than have a black one.

That is good advice.
And it is easy to fall into a trap of buying watches and flipping them. Not a good trap to get stuck in. I fell into this pattern with custom knives, and had to take a break for a couple months to break the pattern. With so many enablers on these sites, it is very easy to get sucked into a buying vortex. |

And PRECISION, I loved my Sub LN, but after some time I went up to 9-10 pieces and never wore it anymore, that's why I flipped, but I loved that watch
