Everose Gold Daytona
I'm looking hard at an everose gold Daytona to add to the collection. Was originally leaning towards the ivory dial on leather strap variation (and still am) but walked into an AD this past week and tried this one on - everose gold, black dial, leather strap.
This configuration isn't on the Rolex site. At first glance, I thought the dial was a chocolate dial and that the only difference was that this didn't have the Arabic numerals. But in addition to the black dial, this is also has the everose gold sub dials and gives it an awesome panda look. Definitely more legible than the chocolate dial version. Thoughts? This vs the ivory dial? Both really cool in their own right... |

I thought only the chocolate and ivory were available with the ceramic bezel? Anyway, I like the looks of the one you're trying on. That is one sweet looking Daytona!

I'd buy this one.
I can't wait until it's out on bracelet. |

Can't you just order a bracelet for the watch then? (must be a bloody expensive option, but if you can swing it..)

I'm not reading below before posting, so if I duplicate the information, I apologize. The strap is not interchangeable with a bracelet. The end links are different and the case also has differences where there is a channel or groove in the case under the bezel that the end link sits in. So the short answer is when you buy a leather or bracelet model, Rolex makes it impossible to change.

Up until a few weeks ago, leather RG was only available with 2 dials, now with all 4, and the bracelet (non ceramic) can be ordered with the chocolate dial. I agree that once a ceramic bracelet Daytona is available, it will be a huge hit! |

Chocolate dial is sharp but hard to read so I think you are making the right choice by going black or ivory. Good luck and looking forward to the incoming! |

Is the dial a lot flatter more matte finish color as opposed to the bezel? Or does it just look like that in the picture?

Very nice. I particularly like the hour markers vs numerals, gives the dial a much cleaner look. So just get it!
