New member and father and soon to be first time Rolex owner

I will for the first time in my life, finally be able to purchase my first and maybe last Rolex. I am about to stumble upon 3,000$ that I am free to spend and the obvious choice is to finally get my dream timepiece. A Rolex datejust. Administrators I'm not trying to loop hole a looking to buy here but if a member does have what I'm looking for pm me. This last two weeks have been such an arduous search for a 36mm two tone datejust with a two tone bracelet preferably a Jubilee, but oyster would do too, one that I can wear everyday for hopefully the rest of my life, I'm 32 and just had my first child. Criagslist and eBay are out of the question, my neighbor had what I'm looking for but it's a 1965 1560 datejust and I'm a little skeptical of it lasting. He offered it for 2500. This is a one shot deal for me and I need it to count. I hope you guys can help me in my search as I've been drooling over Rolex's since 1998 and this weekend I'll finally be able to get one,I just hope I don't get duped and could find one that's authentic and that will last in my wrist everyday for at least 20 years to come, wish me luck ladies and gentlemen. Thanks for reading. This is the one my neighbor has is it good to last and worth the 2500 or look good?

Okay so I looked at this piece above and it has allot of stretch, he offered it for 2250 I want to jump on it out of convenience and not having to take a risk of dealing with a possibility of being burned, plus if something goes wrong I can knock on his door and have him fix it, my real concern is, will i be able to wear this everyday for the next decade? When he had it listed it said 1560 movement but as I was leaving he mentioned it's a 1570 in any case he said it was serviced 18 months ago and he's taking it to his shop to double check waterproofing, can I wear this daily either movement? Please help ease my mind? Any opinions on 1560's durability?

First welcome to TRF with watches like the DJ there are thousands for sale so choose the one in best condition.I would recommend the oyster type bracelet over the jubilee. Now perhaps one of our own recommended on forum sellers could get you a better watch at a far better price have a look in our for-sale and buyers who"s who and drop one of the seller a PM.IMHO all the 15 series movements are the finest Rolex has made very very robust and long lasting
