Explorer II Price Increase in the UK

Can anyone tell me why there was a sudden price increase on the Explorer II in the UK a few months back ? It suddenly jumped from something like 2700 pounds to 3040 pounds and I'm curious why. Many thanks.

There was a UK price increase about a month ago for all Rolex models.
