If he never opened the clasp, how did he take the watch off?

He never went diving. He told me he just took showers with the watch. This is why I dont. The watch other than that was in near perfect condition. I was shocked.

That's silly. As long as you dry it off after it's been in the water it will be fine. This occured because it was never dried.

Lucky his arm did get gangrene.

When I got my Mark II this summer I was pretty disgusted by it as well.

I put my DJ through the dishwasher once a month or so.

Effective system with no negative results for 35 years.

This won't happen if you care for you bracelet.... shower, swim or whatever. Once in a while at least, clean the whole thing.

The entire watch was spotless. Beautiful specimen. The diver expansion band has never been deployed. He wore it since day 1 of purchase without ever expanding the divers expansion. He didn't even know it existed. Letd just say my friend was embarrassed. I told him to go home and scrub that thing.

You should not touch it and call the National Geographic. There's possibly a never encountered before ecosystem down there.
