Who's Gonna Beat Seattle --

Life long Pats fan and I'm scared to death if we beat the Colts have to play the Legion of Boom

That defense is a collection of athletic freaks and Russel Wilson, OMG, the best dual threat in football...

Jumping the gun just a bit John I know you said "if we beat the colts" but we have to get there first and so do they, two big games coming up. You may feel they are both a foregone conclusions but stranger things have happened. I didn't think a team with 6 losses could beat an unbeaten team in 2007 but...

Heck the Ravens game took 10 years off my life, I'm not sure I'm ready for 2 more like that. But, I feel like the Pats are a much better team than the Colts and will find away.

While no team is unbeatable and Russell Wilson could have his first bad game, Seattle could turn the ball over 3x's or anything could happen on any given Sunday, they look really, really good....and I just couldn't bear to watch what happened to Denver last year all over again...

ok I'll indulge this thought for a second...

If they both move on to the SB, who are Seattle's receivers? Who is Wilson going to throw to? He and Lynch could both have 100 yards rushing but they still will need to score 30 points to be in this game, cause even Seattle can't cover all of the receivers NE has.

That said, if NE's "O" line plays poorly TB will have no time to throw and Seattle will win. But I just think BB given some time will game plan at least a close contest. Can Pete Carol out duel BB? That Seattle D line is studdly, it's going to come down to the offensive line of the Pats. If they should meet, I think they have more than a prayer, they've got a shot, a legit shot.

I hate tempting fate by talking about this but since you asked LOL

Kearse and Baldwin for starters. TE Willson has some surprising speed as well.

Colts are hard to figure. To me, they're still a bit on the inconsistent side
Seems they always play a little better or a lot worse than I was expecting

Saw an interesting (not promising) stat for the Packers ~
In twelve games this year on grass (including last week's playoff game) Rodgers has thrown 36 TD's with 0 interceptions
In his five games on artificial turf, however, the breakdown is 5 and 5

This is NE's year... Pretty decent defense finally (except sat) and Tommy has all his weapons. Idt Sea will intimidate NE like it does/has other teams.

I really think that Seattle will go back-to-back this year. Or at least it's what I hope.

Very possible!! Considering the whammy I just put on my team by talking about a theoretical game karma will now make sure that Indianapolis and GB will make it to the SB and play to a 33-33 tie that will ultimately be decided by a North Korean coin flip

4 teams and 3 games left. As they say "on any given Sunday....". Hoping to win on Sunday and get picked in the lottery for Super Bowl tickets, but lots of fun to be still in it.

Don't count out Luck and the Colts. They are a very good team. For that matter, I will root for them this weekend since my Giants are home till next year!

Sorry guys.

While I'd lean towards NE, Indy could give them a run for their money. As far as the NFC, it's Seattles to lose. Unless Rogers has a miraculous comeback and that calf heals to 90%, I can't see them going into Seattle and winning. That kills me to admit, but I am a realist.

I was at the game in 2007 and as a Pats fan since I was a kid growing up in Amherst MA it was a tad depressing. What a win last week. No predictions here. Go Pats!

AFC is EASY.

The Pats SMOKE the Colts....not even worth watching the game....(I HATE the Pats...so no bias here).

NFC? Hmm...

Packers have better players....Seattle is a better team.

Doubt either would beat the damn Pats in the SB...

Neither team has a great pass rush, so unless you make Brady cry by putting him on his ass, he'll kill you to death...

Guess time will tell...

Interesting but the Packers Spanked the Pats that Spanked the Colts. Seattle is the best team right now - me thinks.

January is Heart Palpitations on any given Sunday Month.

Go Pats

The Pack has a shot. Doesn't mean they will win, but I believe this will be a much better game than the pundits predict. We shall see. Go Pack!

Obviously rooting for the Pack, but recalling the beating they took in Seattle on week 1, I have to been realistic. My heart is with the Pack, but my money would be on Seattle. I hope I'm wrong.

AFC - Pats.

I agree with all of the above. I'm pulling for the Pack big time (unfortunately, I'll be at work during the game ), but I remember the week one match up, so......

Two really good games coming up this weekend and I think all four teams have a legitimate shot at advancing. But if I have to pick then I am going to say Seattle vs. New England. I think Packers have one major problem and that's the fact that Aaron Rodgers is immobile. He still played pretty well against Dallas but Seattle has a much scarier defense.

I hope the Pats and Hawks get there, the only thing that will make up for those two Giants losses is beating the Seahawks and shutting up Sherman, Lynch and the 12th man...
