What Is Your Ultimate Dream Rolex Collection ????

If you could have ANY Rolex WATCHES which would you choose with only the three following rules:

1. You have to wear each watch at least 10 days a year.
2. You can't sell or give away any of them.
3. You can choose ANY Rolex ever made as well as any Dream Rolex that has never existed.

You can include photos of your dream watches. If you feel like it share with us why you want each watch and how and where you might wear it?

3. SS Submariner-Date
4. SS GMT ll w/all bezels (Pepsi, Coke, Black)
5. Possibly a YG President or Date Just to break the monotony of all the other sports/stainless steel models above.

Indeed Mike Wood has what most consider the best collection in existence. That's only a portion of it.

There are some fantastic photos of some all time classic Rolex watches on this thread.
Well done to everybody.
For me I would have to currently say the following.
1) Y/G DD - Already got
2) S/S Daytona with a black dial - On the waiting list
3) The new DSSD - keeping my fingers and toes crossed
4) Maybe a Platinum DD with the Ice blue dial - but the chances of me getting that are zilch

Gotta be:

6263 Daytona
DSRD
Red Sub
Bond Sub (I mean worn in Connery film bond sub)

Wow.. I just realized these are all vintage pieces.. Hmmm. Maybe add a 16610 for everday.

I already have it.

I was fortunate to buy my Ultimate Rolex in Feb of 1987 for $900.00 from Bailey Banks and Biddle in Kansas City.

As you can see it is quite worn, because I've worn it nearly everyday since I bought it back then. It is viturally indistructable.

Other choices are as follows.
SS Datejust with machine bezel and jubilee bracelet.
Platinum Day/Date with a jubilee bracelet.
Any Daytona

Thanks

That's a wonderful watch, looking exactly as it should: Well used! I am twenty years behind with this one:

But well on track with this one, that has seen a lot:

Obviously I favor Explorers.

Best,

A

With around 80 vintage watches I would say you are definately walking the walk and talking the talk. Congratulations mon ami and welcome to the club of "I am crazy about Rolex".
I am including a picture of my favorite Rolex Ref: 6263/6262 with a monochromatic
silver dial

My list is rather simple,

1) RG DJ with Pink Diamond Dial, already have it
2) TT GMTIIC, already have it
3) Plat DD on President with Ice blue Glacier Diamond dial - next!
4) RG DD on President
5) WG Daytona, on bracelet or strap with Meteorite Dial.

That would be my complete collection, at which point I plan to diversify :)
