Another Rolex "Boutique" Store!?

I just heard from a very trustworthy and reliable source, that there will be another Rolex "boutique" store in Philadelphia. Presently, there is actually only one authorized Rolex dealer in the entire city of Philadelphia (Jack Kellmer Jewelers). There are several AD's in the suburbs, but Kellmer's is the only AD that is actually located in Philly.

There is another high end watch store named Govberg Jewelers. Govberg carries Patek Phillipe, and most if not all the other "high end" brands, but not Rolex.

I heard that Govberg will be opening a "Rolex only" boutique store in the new Comcast building in Philadelphia that will be opening this summer. It's supposed to be similar to the Las Vegas store and the new Rolex boutique store in California.

In addition to my "source", it was supposedly also in one of the local business papers. So, I'll keep my eyes open and report back to you. If this is true, it appears that this may be the new route that Rolex is taking. Having one jeweler invest a LOT of money opening up a boutique store with the Rolex name. Saves Rolex a lot of money, yet it gives the appearance that it's a company store, though it's privately owned.
