Great Service at Panerai Service Center in Dallas?

I've seen quite a few threads on the net about poor service and damaged watches from the Panerai Service Center in Dallas, and mixed in those threads are a few positive comments here and there. Just wondering if this is a case of 'the squeaky wheel gets the grease' type thing.

Has anyone had a goor, great or excellent experience with the Panerai Service Center in Dallas? I'm interested because I just bought one with an in house movement and don't have other service options so I'd like to get a feel for what I can expect.

Thanks,

Roger

Well, what are there, four or five negative threads out there? Among how many services? People expect good service and when then get it, no big deal and no need to post on the internets.

For sure, it's not good when someone gets substandard service, but, I would say that's far from the norm....and no brand is immune from shoddy service.

And, AFAIK, no one has said PSC hasn't fixed a mistake.....

very true, which is why I made the effort to post a more positive review of my service experience with Richemont N. EU. (obviously not that interesting to those relying on Dallas).

I have a thread somewhere and my service with PASC was perfect. That being said, I'd suggest sending it in with a letter with embedded photos. I clearly marked scratches that I wanted addressed and also documented how it was when I sent it in.

I had good experiences with PASC but I always had my AD send it to them on my behalf rather than send it in directly myself.

Humm, this with doing the photo documentation as mentioned above might be the best idea. At least then when it comes back, you have an AD on your side as a third party voice to support you with PASC if anything is out of whack.
