BLNR or Hulk???

So I'm going to be getting a new "workhorse" watch and I can't decide between the BLNR or the Hulk. I currently have an older steel DJ white dial, and a TT YMII. What do you guys think??? I wish I could afford them both.

That's tough...really depends on how much you like green. I love my hulk, but could see myself being really happy with either.

Obviously biased, but the BLNR could be much more versatile, whereas the Hulk could take on a "when I'm in the mood" type role. Also the BLNR has a black dial which I would perceive to be more "workhorse"-like

From reading about other users asking this question, it's apparent that the answer is "get whichever you prefer, for you will likely buy the other eventually anyway".

I never get tired of watching the blue change hue on mine:

It depends on what this "workhorse" watch will be used for and what type of lifestyle you carry. If you are one that is in a more business like environment and wear suits, then the BLNR would be a better choice. If you are in more of a casual setting, then get the LV.

Both are fantastic references. I own both and can honestly say that these two are probably the best SS combination that is currently available from Rolex. Can't go wrong with either one as they would add some colour to your collection of white dial watches.

I think that Eric makes a great point, I do wear a suit every day. Thanks for the input.

Of course personal preference, but I think the BLNR is more versatile of a choice. (Both are great though)

Depends on what you mean by "workhorse". I generally don't associate PCLs with "workhorse". Either way, my vote goes to the LVc - obviouisly lol since I bought it over the BLNR.

Depends on your current collection. I think the blnr is more versatile in most situations. I have a small rotation so the gmt works well for me. If I had all my bases covered, the hulk would be a great addition to the collection

Hulk for a "work horse" watch. IMO, the PCLs of the BLNR are the downside to it being a daily "beater".

My Hulk is a real workhorse: it survived all sorts of bangs and knocks. My Daytona, with PCL, is a bit more sensitive to the environment.

No reason not to go for the one you prefer.

Personally, I prefer solid green with chameleon dial plus brushed bracelet & glide lock clasp over bi-color & busy bezel, black dial and PCLs. YMMV.

X2. I vote Hulk.

Later, I wanted to add some blue to my collection and planned on possibly getting the BLNR, but then the D Blue came out and quickly changed that plan.

I vote hulk as i have one.

I choose it over the BLNR last year, i simply like the balance of the sub more and the unique and beautiful dial and bezel. By no means do i dislike the BLNR, i love it and i want one too. I will likely get one this year.

I would say BLNR. But have to see how they look on your wrist. I think the Hulk looks great on lots of people but when I tried it on in the AD it just wasn't for me.

Either would be great, but I have a particular fondness for GMT watches

Agreed, no wrong choice here. My vote is the Hulk. There may be some more room in BLNR price adjustment.

both awesome, I think the BLNR is the better all round but love the clasp on the sub, I have the Hulk and a ceramic GMT so I couldn't decide!

My vote is for the BLNR. However, you can't go wrong with the Hulk either.
So go for the BLNR first and get the Hulk sometime later
