This movie will be coming out soon by Sony pictures. It is an incredible story of the birth and origination of this group and the men who created them. 10 years in the making, If you are a fan you are going to be in for a treat

Looking forward to it! The Who (if I can call the current incarnation of the band by that name) will be in town this year. Plan to see them one more time.

Some music will be introduced from the archives, it is anticipated to be Oscar worthy.

Looking forward to this I'm a big fan of everything up to Face Dances. I've seen them twice, once in '89 and again in '94. Both fantastic concerts. I wouldn't go now. I have a feeling I would walk away unhappy. However, they're still one of my favorite bands

Zak and Pino are good in their own rights no question. However without Keith and John, their songs wouldn't be the same. If you ever have an opportunity to listen to Quadrophenia thru a set of headphones you'll getbwhere I'm coming from. Especially on The Real Me and Punk Meets the Godfather

Saw them many times and last year for Quadrophenia which was excellent. Unfortunately their usual concert is the same old set list that they won't change. Still worth seeing but a little disappointing.

They were through St. Paul in 2010. Daltry's voice gave out during the second set and he couldn't continue for the end of the set or the encore.
I have never seen Townshend play guitar like he did after Roger left. He just beat on the thing for three songs, trying to make it up to crowd. It was almost like being back in 1978. It was a rough concert, but the spontaneity was such that I bought the CD recording of that event. |

Saw The Who on their first retirement tour in '82. Great concert. I was astounded they ended the concert w/ the Ox singing Twist & Shout! And they rocked it.

I have heard of drummers who try and play along to recordings of him at his peak (69-73) and they can't keep up for more then an hour. The energy he bought to their shows during this years was astounding. Incredible musician.
