Just had a call from Panerai AD......

They are getting a PAM00587 in next week and I'm top of the list

I had emailed them them back in September when I first heard about the Marina Militare and have spoken to them lots over the last few months and there has been no mention as they had been allocated 1 and it was already accounted for.

People don't give up hope. They are still dropping into AD's and Boutiques.

I'll be selling my 425 SLC in order to purchase the 587 which is not the best but needs must

Very nice! Pre-congrats.

Looking at your collection, any thought given to instead keeping the 425 and flipping the 372?

I've sold the 372 twice and replaced it both times. It gets the most wear in my collection.

The 372 gets more wear than your 127

Would have thought the other way round

Nice one. My AD got in touch with their Panerai rep about getting one for me but was told there no more available. That was last December, so maybe the UK is getting allocated more?

my understanding was there were only 10 coming to the uk, i was surprised how few it was, i figured we'd get 20-25

587 is a beautiful piece, one of the best! Congratulations!
Seems Asia market is a little different, there are 3 panerai boutiques in Shanghai, last Sunday my cousin walked in one of them and there was a 587 on the case, of couse he got it!
