It's not that surprising if you think about it. They purchased 14K oval Jubilee links. I estimate the bracelet to be from the 50s- 60s. I'm sure it's slim pickings when you're in a bind and need some ASAP.

I think this explains well. Rolex would know if its fake or not right away and then if its genuine, it will service it, polish it and use it for one of their watches in service. That is still good enough option for over 60+yrs old watch. If it would be fake, it would just throw it away, not really an issue with small money for Rolex. Your seller history has good ratings and lot of genuine Rolex watch parts, so RSC might have just tried its luck - instead of waiting - for the genuine bracelet from their warehouse(or wherever its need to ship from).

Also, OP is a seller in Ebay with good history of selling genuine Rolex watch parts. He shouldn't have any reason to make this one up. I can totally believe this SF RSC would have bought the bracelet from him.

Yeah, especially since SF is an authorized service center that isn't owned by Rolex. I'm sure Rolex has no problem with Giovani sourcing bracelets wherever he pleases as long as his work is good.

Obviously Rolex trusts fleabay..... even if TRF does not generally. Funny many people mock ebay, but I have sold many of my watches there, even bought one once (and it was genuine, even it was not keeping good time).

That's what they did with a well known Rolex Internet seller (that rhymes with Bellnose) who used counterfeit parts claiming they were authentic, building up a case to shut them down..
