Really enjoyed our time at the Hilton when we went, surprisingly even more so than when we stayed at the Shangri-La across the river on a subsequent trip.

How did you like the Sheraton?

Great little open air airport that's got a nice relaxed vibe to it.

We also stayed at the Hilton but some of the pics got erased from the MicroSD card on the S4 (love the pool and the 360 lounge on top there though). Sheraton's staff were a bit more friendly. Suite we stayed in is showing its age but well maintained. They have 2 pools there so that's always a plus.

That's the small airport on Koh Samui (link). Love the atmosphere there.

Great pix. I live outside Bkk for the last 10 years. As you said great food and nice people. The place is very safe as well. Looks like you hit all the good spots in Thailand.

Thanks. I try to choose location where we stay a bit far from where the major traffic would be. Food there are the best! I've tried so many Thai restaurants here in L.A. but nothing like the real thing. lol

Stayed at the Royal Orchid Sheraton?

Stayed there many times, I'll be there after a week, going down south first!

Nice shots. I hope you enjoyed your stay in BKK.

I hope you ventured outside of the Sheraton, saw the sights, ate the street food and experienced the wonderful city life.

The best part of the city Greg!

I have a bad lust to BKK, but it will be cured a week from now.
