Traveling watches
Whether I travel in the states or abroad, I usually travel with just one watch. I have a trip coming up where it would be nice to have my BLNR for the day and DDII for the evening dinners. Do any of you travelers carry more than one watch with you on vacation? I feel a little uneasy although they do have in room safes.

In-room hotel safe is the last place i would leave my watch. Very insecure (the safe, not me).

I would take both of those and I would put it in the hotel's main safe or even buy a small casebudi and put it in your pocket.

Traveling watches
I usually only travel with one watch. But if I do take two I usually keep the other one in a pair of shoes in my suitcase which I close. That in room safe is a sitting duck. Hang the do not disturb sign on the door. I had one security issue in a hotel, with a small amount of cash missing when the room was entered to clean while the DND tag was out. The hotel was easily able to pinpoint the culprit and rectify the situation.
For what it's worth I travel 45-50 weeks a year, 3-4 nights a week mostly in the Midwest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

One on my wrist. Always. Only more than one if I buy something.

It's just not worth it to me to take more than one watch...I want to enjoy my trip (if it's a vacation) or focus on my work (if business), not sit and worry about a watch. Or take all these precautions.
My recommendation: pick the watch that works the best and go with that one. Luckily Rolexes are extremely versatile and work well in many different situations. Just my thoughts. |

Just take one. The BLNR would be perfect as your "Travel Watch".

I typically travel with my Y-series black bezel GMT-II. It goes well with any occasion - dressed up for the opera or dressed down for bangers and mash. For more dicey trips, I may take only my Seiko GMT or a G-Shock.

Genoa
stayed at the Grand Savoy Xmas week. Do not disturb on the door. Left my Hulk out on the desk as I wore my ss white faced Daytona. The hulk be gone!
Mea culpa. Usually leave it in a locked case and not the safe. Went on to Venice and replaced it with a new blue faced Milgauss. Love it. |

I sometimes bring more than one on vacation. I usually carry the spare in my brief case or backpack rather than leave it in the hotel room safe.

Depends on how many time zones are involved. 1 time zone, one watch. Multiple time zones, Omega GMT and the DJ.
