Watch sizing

I just recently purchased a new sub from one of the TRF trusted sellers and now need to get it sized. I live relatively close to the RSC in New York. Can I just walk in and ask them to size it for me? Will they do it on the spot? Do they charge anything for it?

Thanks for your help.

Sizing from AD is always free AFAIK.
RSC should gladly do it while you help yourself to a beverage.

Thanks guys. I'm almost tempted to go to the RSC right now to get it sized so I can wear it but I have a sick wife at home that is persuading me otherwise. I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Most ADs will help you for free.

Go to the RSC or an AD with a watchmaker for sizing. I learned my lesson the hard way.

Or get yourself a good screwdriver and do it yourself...very simple job.

Do not go to Tourneaus ! Go to any of the fine NYC Authorized Rolex Jewelers or the RSC or the Wempe Boutique on street level.

I agree that for the first fit don't go do it yourself. It's insanely easy with the right sharp screwdriver but you can mess it up if the tool isn't sharp. Plus it's good to have the seasoned watch professional put the right amount of tightening torque. (and I recommend the low strength LockTite)
