My vote is GMT2c. Better clasp, new movement, solid links, maxi dial, ceramic bezel, 4 hands must I continue? ;)

Hmm, i wish i could agree in total. I love Blusey, it was the first watch by Rolex i really wanted, and i was very dissapointed when i wore it on my wrist, and found it to be to showy for me. (sorry TT owners) I am saddened that i am unable to carry off this watch as it is THE most beautiful Rolex. So i understand the dilema. Personally, if i could carry it off it would be the Blusey , but i cant so its GMT II c for me. But whatever you choose, im sure youll be happy with your choice, remember what someone said on here recently, when you get the right one on your wrist, it will screem at you.' Good luck.

They say it will be out at the begging of next year, or so. The blue is kinda sky blue though, not at all cobolt, and i didnt like it much to be honest. The case is similar to the GMT IIc and has the ceramachrome bezel. with the TT bracelet, and gold inlay. However the AD said they could not make the cobolt bezel, (i am not so sure) The Sky blue was not to my liking and was not metalic. im sure other TRF members will explain more as i really know very little.

You mell well be right sir, but either way the AD said that it was to replace the Blusey. (so he said, what do i know??) either way, i think if it suits the blusey, but its your wrist.
Thanks for the clarification.

How are the current Subs as time keepers compared to the Parachrom models??
I'm starting to wonder about the best thing to do. I have a GMT-IIC and let me say that I'd suggest you buy that first from my limited experience. I do want a Bluesy though and had hoped that the new design "upside" (SEL, clasp, parachrom, ceramic bezel) would outweigh the potential "downside" (loss of that great deep blue color). Not buying in "powder blue" if that's how this bezel turns out. So if you own both watches currently could you comment on how they compare in terms of features and accuracy? Might help the OP and others decide. |

I had to get both...
Bluesy won the first face-off.
It is still it my humble opinion the Rolex of rolexes... It looks stunning, and it really draws all eyes to it. Plus it has a timeless classic feel to it. but it doesn't quite go with every outfit or every occasion (many may disagree) the black dial ss watches will be much more versatile, more typically spporty and dressy (dress-ish really). If you could only get one....I'd say the GMT. But really, they are the perfect duo together.... |

The TT Blue Sub is just hard to beat, imho. That blue dial together with the gold is simply stunning! Had you asked for advice for getting either an LV or GMT IIc, though, I'd recommended the GMT IIc in a heartbeat. Like always, however, it is a matter of personal taste and preference.
