Rolex Datejust 16233 Tapestry Dial
Only recently able to afford high end watches and decided to get a rolex, I tried buying from the forum but no luck due to lack of reference. I decided to buy from BobsWatches and it came today. Someone said they are a reliable store but I have zero knowledge of rolexes so here it is. Real or fake?

I think you are fine with bobswatches. Also, that is not a tapestry dial (tapestry dials have a bunch of vertical grooves on it).

And what's up with the bracelets? I think it detracts from the look of the watch. Good luck with the DJ.

If it came from Bobs, it is almost certainly not "fake." They are a legit outfit. As others have said, not a tapestry dial.

Thanks everyone. It was advertised as a Tapestry dial but thanks for pointing out its not. I'm fine with knowing I didn't get shafted so its all good. Thanks once more

Nice Datejust! The dial is champagne with baton markers.

Congrats. Great first Rolex. Bob's is straight up and that is a nice piece.

I looked at Bob's watches when I bought my Sub a couple months ago. They checked out fine. I ended up buying from Beckertime instead because Bob's were higher in price for the same models I was looking at.
Right now they have several 16710 available, a model which I badly want but it's the same situation, I think with a bit of patience and thorough search I might be able to find it for a little less somewhere else. Congrats on your new watch. I also looked at Bernard's and Swiss wrist. All legit as far as I know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks Watchabout. I'm in the market for a sub right now, I have my eyes on this one http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?p=5657596 but It's difficult closing a deal on this forum when you don't have references, and I'm still too terrified to venture out into the wild. I just wish people will realize new members have to start somewhere...Bobs has it but its more expensive
