Hing Wa Lee is similar to Chong Hing Jewelers, their closest competitor. Main clientele are wealthy Asians in Nor Cal and So. Cal.

Big article in the LA times a couple days ago about the owners unbelievable Ferrari collection. I've been in the new San Gabriel store which is huge. No idea what their prices are like.

5 years ago, I went to the Hing Wa Lee in Rowland Height on Fairway and Colima inquiring about the navitimer. The sale lady imidiately asked "Do you speak Mandarin, Cantonese?" Being Vietnamese, I said no. She was somewhat taken aback, but, she was still nice enough to show me all the watches I wanted to look at.

I thought she was an ok salesperson, but I had a feeling that she would prefer to deal with someone who could speak either Mandarin or Cantonese. But that was only ONE salesperson, and I have not been back there ever since.
