FS: Tudor 7016 Small Rose Sub; Fully Serviced
I've gone back and forth with myself regarding if I should sell this one. At the end of the day, my new home is more important to invest into than a watch. I am putting up my Tudor sub for sale. I purchased the watch last year and sent it off to a trusted vintage technician. The movement was serviced using all NOS parts and now runs as new. Winds butter smooth and keeps great time. I received the watch back in Dec; it comes with a 1 year warranty from the service provider. Note that it was not tested for water resistance. It has new gaskets but I don't claim that it is safe to dive/swim with. I have not taken it into any water.
This is the small rose 7016/0. This is for someone who likes their vintage pieces to have character, rather than one which spent its life in a safe. The faded ghost bezel looks amazing. The patina on the hands/dial are consistent. No case work was done during the service so it has marks but nothing deep or major which couldn't be polished out if wanted. The bracelet is not original to the watch. It is a Rolex 91350 with 580 endlinks. I'd put it at about 60%. It's condition matches the watch well and gives it a look of being original. It has two removable links; should be enough for ~8" wrist with the micro adjustment. I'm pricing the watch at $4,300 shipped OBRO; CONUS only. The service alone was $850 after sourcing the NOS parts for the movement. Included will be the watch & bracelet, the 2 extra links, and the invoice from the service. I would consider trades provided it's a trade down with cash coming my way. I need funds for some home projects, otherwise I'd be keeping this one. This is an excellent piece if you're looking to get into the world of vintage subs but don't want to invest into something like a 5513 yet. Please PM me with any questions. I have bought/sold many watches across various watch forums, including this one. Thanks for looking. |
