Please help me choose my second Rolex (BLNR vs 116713)
Hello.
This is my first post and I need your opinion. I usually never have problem choosing, but this one I would like to hear more opinions. I have already read most threads regarding both models. I have 14060m and black bay burgundy, and would like to get either BLNR or 116713 tt. I have tried both at local AD, and 116713 sings more to me. But I'm worried that I wouldn't wear it as much due to the fact that I wear casual 99% of the time, even at work. BLNR was nice as expected, but nothing wow. I think it will grow as I wear it? And I would be able to wear it whilst I work. (Not too blingy) I'm turning 35, and I wouldn't be able to flip easily where I live. Thanks in advance. |

I would get the Blnr if it was me, which i did. It will not just grown on you, it will take most of your wrist time

Yeah the TT is really gorgeous and a little more "fancy". Between these two I'd go with the TT GMT but it's certainly not for everyone. LOVE the BLNR though.

I was in the same boat as well...looking at both TT GMT and Sub. But took a step back and asked myself what would be a more versatile watch (for me that is). Ended up going with the BLNR.

Based on you collection and what you have written, I would suggest the 116713. You already have two SS sport watches. A TT watch would make a great addition to your collection. The 116713 will look good with business and casual wear.

Have you looked at the blue two-tone?
I also have the BLNR and love it. |

Oh my apologies I didn't read your post properly.
Yes, I have tried it before and it is definitely amazing in person. But it wouldn't get much wrist time from me as it's too shiny to wear at work (I'm a chef, and I do think blue two tone is a bit overboard in the kitchen environment. ) |

Sounds like you want/like the TT...so go for it. As far as the BLNR growing on you, don't count on it.

Not much help....
I think you know which one, the 116713 seems to be what you want. As for casual wearing, I don't see why not, I think the tt is flexible enough to look good in and out of a suit. I think both will grow on you, but it's even more important to like it from the beginning. I think the tt is the more flexible of the two in which it looks great in any suit and looks right at home in a tshirt and jeans, either way both great choices and will satisfy your needs. The BLNR is my next watch. |

Yeap you're correct. I did like the gmt TT for a long time. Then I've realised the versatility of blnr. Thanks. I'll keep you posted. |

BLNR here, not a fan of two tone even though 116713 is the best looking one in the Rolex line up IMO
