Questions ... GMTII-C
3185 or 3186 inside?
Came across a LNIB with paper dated Aug 07. The sales detail stated that it's a 3185 inside. Thought all latest GMTII-C comes with the newer movement 3186? |

All GMTIIC's have the 3186 movement.
Either the sales details are wrong or the watch has been frankenised. |

Are they (EXPII & GMTIIC) use the same movement?

Yes they use the same movement, the 3186 now. The 3185 is no longer being used at all as all GMT and Exp II watches leaving the factory have the 3186.

Maybe the seller claimed this because the SS GMT IIc might have come with the OLD GMT II booklet as an error?

Bo & Steve, given the benefit of doubt, think it's a genuine mistake on the shop part. It's not an AD ... just a licence reseller based locally here. Makes me itch real bad .... |
