The olive Phoenix looks nice.
One TRF'er showed a pic of a two piece Nato from strappedfortime.com Haven't tried, but a two piece with deployant clasp from Timefactors.com looks excellent and at $19 seems like a good deal. |

Check out the ones sold by Clockwork Synergy
I like the ones from a company called Clockwork Synergy.
Here is a link to an older thread I started regarding them. http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=298397

I'm thinking of the original Phoenix grey and another that's black with a beige stripe or two matching the patina.

I really like the leather NATOs from Bulang and Sons. Based in the Netherlands.
The camel hide suede one is especially a favourite of mine. They have a rougher (in a good way) look than most other suede straps I've seen. https://bulangandsons.com/home-with-products/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got a batch of natos from Crown and Buckle, highly recommend. The premium ones are especially good quality, although less selection.

I like the G10 NATO on a sub. I think the Zulu overpowers a sub.

OK - if you had to have one then it should be the Phoenix in Admiralty Gray.
They all Look fantastic - but that is the Mark 1, Mod 0 strap for a sub. Sure, there were ones before it and many since but that is the standard barer (I think anyway). Of course the nice thing about NATOs and ZULUs are that there are so many inexpensive and cool options, don't stop at just one. I have Phoenix, Maratac, and a Horween leather NATO from Roverhaven, C&B and others. Just like changing socks ;)

I received a Admiralty grey Phoenix. I'm surprised the strap is so thin.
