I know "Prince" has a nice storage box. Cannot recall the brand, but maybe he can tell you.

I have some wooden cases and have just received this leather case (sorry about the reflections).
It saves a lot of wear on the original boxes. Have a look here. Good to deal with. http://stores.ebay.com.au/Pstrapusa

Not Rolex , I just set the date and the approximate time and wear them. I don't even bother winding them up more than a couple of turns to start them up.
I have two 4 watch winders one (Steinhausen) has a storage drawer and one (OEEA) also stores six. I could put the OEEA in the safe as it also runs on batteries - but it is a bit big. I keep my 'other' automatics on the winders. eg. Seiko, Alpha, Invicta, Tissot etc.

Yes, I have a huge bolted fire proof ex-Post Office safe, weighs about 300 kg. I only have one watch of any significant value ($$$'s or sentiment) out of it at any one time.

I was going to show you my old Trogan box that I use to house my babies, but from looking at the above I don't think it will measure up.
