Its Been An Amazing Day...
apart from trying on the gmt master II ice as in thread http://rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=40616
i managed to pick a little something up for myself. a little history... one morning, a few weeks ago, i asked the uk forum members to help me locate a gmt II... http://rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=39421 later the same day, by mistake, tony guided me to an AD, thinking i wanted the new gmt IIc... http://rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=39470 well today, i got a gmt II coke (z series), brand spanking new, with all the stickers on, at a list price £2,790. i will post pics tomorrow as its a little late over here... p.s. i would like to thank everyone in helping me make this decision.

Harvey, that's the price before the hike (or when it was discontinued). Well done :)

yeh ive noticed over the last 2 weeks, there have been a flurry of gmt II purchases by uk forum members... getting scarcer...none of them were m series though... by the way just a funny story... a guy gave all his valued personal possesions to his brother, incase he ever got divorced. guess what...his brother got divorced and his wife took half his stuff lol silly i kno but it makes me laugh

thanks guy, i appreciate the comments... im dedicating the buying of this watch to all the forum members here... without your guidance, support and encouragement... i wouldnt have got it. thats why buying it means a lot to me.
for the time being, i am pretty content with the ones ive got... im suprised im even saying this... normally ive got my eye on something or other...

Harvey congratulations on your new Rolex
Glad that you had a great time. And that I was able to help a fellow TRF member. Isn't that GMT ICE something else. But not for me.
