Casebacks - Swap Sub C for GMTII C?
Ignoring the impact on depth rating, are the casebacks interchangeable? Has anyone done this so your Sub sits flatter on the wrist?
Sorry if this is a noob question. Search results pulled nothing. |

I don't know the answer to that but curious why you'd want to do that?

Bony wrist makes Sub sit higher than preferred. Impact on depth rating is a not a factor for a non-diver.

I would trade it for a GMT.

Fine with that. Just want to know if it will fit without any mechanical issues.

This question would be better suited in Rolex WatchTech where they actually work on the watches.

I personally love the 116610 so I understand if this is not an option, but have you considered the 16610 instead? It's extremely comfortable on the wrist compared to the SubC. Just a thought.
