DRSD Advice please.

What are your opinions on this please apart from the minute hand and approx value? The watch comes with the box and papers.

Maybe it is just me, but so even and orange patina - and also the white thin lines on the indices on the dial - just make me skeptic.

looks an honest enough mk4 ...the big chip in the dial at 5 kicks it in the balls HARD for value ...has a double effect in that the kind of person who would ordinarily pay a big premium for BNP wont be the same person who'll buy a dial with a chip in it.

That chip just jumps up straight at you. Nicely described Jed

what's the asking price? Dial damage will knock thousands off a DRSD

You could try Michael Young in Honk Kong - I think that would be a small fix, and you'd probably hardly notice it afterwards. Just bear in mind about the relative re-sale value if you acquire it and then want to move it on later.

While you're at it, I'd get the second-hand lume colour-matched as well; again a very small job, and would improve the look significantly.

If don't intend to sell it, buy it if the price reflects the chip...
Get it fixed and you'll be a happy proud owner of a great reference

If you intend to sell it... Look for another one
