Though it would also be interesting to see Rolex see to the needs of other modern active professionals in the creation of new members of the Rolex Oyster Professional family in the near future.
Very interesting idea.

Interesting read.

Although I've always thought that Oyster Perpetuals (OP, date-just, Day-date, etc.) are the most appropriate "professional" watch for those professionals who work in an office wearing a dress shirt (lawyer, banker, manager).

Thanks for that, was just talking to a friend who has always wanted a Breitling as he was once a pilot and he asked me if Rolex makes anything in the aviation field and I happily thrust my GMTc in his face and told him all about Pan Am and the needs of it's pilots etc etc and the poor guy's food got cold.

Having been bloodied from battles with the vast anti-Rolex watch enthusiasts on Youtube discussions, it was pleasant to read a positive Rolex article.

The majority of people, most who have never owned a Rolex, believe them to be an empty brand worn strictly as a status symbol and far below Omega (it's always Omega, a brand I actually admire) in terms of quality.

Well, the Youtube watch community is growing (Archie has many young competitors) and while I haven't made a video yet, I do stand up to the abuse hurled at our favorite brand.
