Fair price for Submariner 2006?
Hi Guys, I'm just considering to buy my first Rolex. I've found it on the internet, we would meet with the guy in the rolex store to proof the origin. Its a Submariner 16610 (2006). Bezel was replaced for a brand new, and the glas has two tiny flecks, not too visible. The glas change would cost $ 130EUR ($141). The watch itself costs 3955EUR ($4300). The watch looks worn, but in the rolex store they told me they can clean it dor me for $100 and it'll look like almost the bra s new. So it would cost me around $4.5K to change the glas and have to watch. Do you find it a good price? If I would buy it, and i would sell it in the future, would I lose money on the sell? Or will it keep this value I would pay for it now? Thanks in advance! Cheers, Warningshotz

I'd like a picture for condition to be sure, but, for that price you can't go much lower when flipping it later.

Post a picture but $4300 sounds right to me.

Sounds like a fair price to me. Assume it'll need a service in the near future too, btw.

Be sure to factor the cost of service in the price of the watch - at a minimum, I would have it pressure tested to ensure the seals are in place before trying to swim with the watch. Welcome and congratulations on your first purchase!
