BLNR vs LV - which is more "limited" now?
Hi
We all Rolex-lovers know that both BLNR and LV are not that often seen at ADs (compared to other models), due to high demand and less produced than e.g. Datejust, Sub etc. Do you know which one is harder to get at ADs now? And which one is more "limited" compared with SubC.

I would say in the UK the BLNR is harder to obtain currently. However, neither watches are "limited" as such.

Both are easily available in the secondhand market and from grey dealers.

Agreed here - the BLNR may be harder to find at an AD, but neither are limited and can be easily purchased any day of the week from a trusted seller here ion the forum.

Both are rarely found (but not limited) in AD places in Taiwan. According to local Rolex forums, it seems that BLNR owners are fewer than LV-C ones, and you can find some second-hand LV-C more than BLNR in the grey markets. Nevertheless, these are two most sought-after Rolex models in Taiwan now. IMHO.

Yes, none of them are limited at all. However, it seems that ADs do not get many of them for each delivery... They maybe get 1-3 BLNR and LV comapred to 4-6 SubCLN etc. (?)

They are not limited in production. But it just seems that ADs do not get as many BLNR and LV as Sub, datejust etc. Love my BLNR by the way! Superb daily Rolex.

Neither are limited but the BLNR is not often seen in my local US ADs where as the LVC is always on display.

Not so many ADs in Europe show these models in the window, because they keep them in their safe at back stores, waiting for The grey dealers around the world to purchase.

They are not limited... but hard to get hold off because they are popular at the moment. Some AD's have waiting lists so when they come in they phone the customers on the list so thats why they rarely found in windows.

When I was in Hongkong, I went to every Rolex AD. And that's because I was looking for the Deepsea Blue. And I noticed that there are no BLNR and LV display in there Showcases. I asked the Salesman and said, that it is sold out. But I saw one LV at the Hongkong airport AD. Anyways, here's my BLNR,

I've seen plenty of LVs in ADs, but the BLNR is still a rare sighting. I was offered a BLNR by a big T so I guess supply is loosening up.

Either/both seem to be in my local AD's window whenever I go past.

They are both hard to find in my neck of the woods. According to my AD, the LV is harder to come by than the BLNR. They get about one LV for every four or five Sub LN's ordered.
Personally have not seen any LV's on display at any AD here for well over a year. Saw a BLNR just before Christmas and a couple more back in June of last year. Also, according to my AD, these two models are the most popular at this moment, then followed by the SS Daytona (black dial first and then white dial).

Not sure about supply or demand but when I bought both my blnr and lv I wasn't specifically looking for either. If memory serves me correctly they were brought out from a cupboard below the case. They just happened to be in the store. To the point of many here, I have never seen either displayed at any 3 of the ADs at home.

Have not seen the BLNR in any ADs in Singapore for the last 2 years. Not even 2nd hand shops.
For the LVC, need to ask......most ADs do not have it, but some has it "at the back". |

A local AD (Palo Alto, CA) told me the BLNRs are even harder to get after the Pepsi came out. Apparently he said that people waiting on the Pepsi were "disappointed" that it only came in white gold and thus didn't want to pay the $ for it, so they're all seeking out BLNRs now.
He in fact, had one in the back in the safe. He was not trying to sell it to me, as I mentioned I had one already and was curious if it was still hard to get. |

If you are willing to go the trusted seller route from here on the forum most of these guys can get you just about any watch you want with a couple of phone calls. Nothing is unobtainable.

Neither are 'limited' as they are both readily available on here and on ebay and other watch aficionado websites.

All I can add is by personal experience. I've seen several LVs before (in and out of Ads) and have yet to see a BLNR.
