Annual Calendar
I'm currently looking at Lange, Patek, and JLC for an annual calendar. Are there any recommendations or other brands I should look at?!
Thanks and happy Saturday! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I like the Vacheron Quai de l'Ile annual calendar. Then there is the Rolex Skydweller.
JLC does not make an annual calendar as far as I know. The Master Calendar is not annual, and you have to move the date forward at the end of every month with < 31 days. They also make a perpetual calendar. This is at a similar price as the annual calendars of more expensive brands like PP and VC, so you could consider it. |

Patek invented the annual calendar and personally I would start there. Lange has a gorgeous annual as well, look around and try a bunch of brands on!

After wanting an AC for four plus years, I finally recently decided on one and it's a Patek. Best

I posted in the Patek category a query about the different Patek annual calendars because I am still considering one of their pieces. There is fair bit of mention of the various Patek models. So i have also been looking at alternatives and nothing really gets me excited. These are some of the others I have considered. BTW --- do you want a more dress or sporty annual calendar? Here is the thread i was referring to
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=407771 Journe has a marvelous new Perp. Calendar that replaces their Annual Calendar that was discontinued in 2013. The Annual can still be found. However I really like the Perp Calendar. It was supposed to be released in 2013 but it was delayed and should or perhaps has recently been released. I wish they would have made it an Annual calendar and then decreased the price 20K or so :) Besides this model there are no-non Patek that knock my socks off. IWC has a new 7 day Portuguese model that is not too bad and at a reasonable price. I love Lange and GO in general but i am not overly impressed with their annual calendar models. Breguet is another you can look at. VC was already mentioned. |

For an AC I would go Patek, if you want sporty you have 5726, if dressy 5205, Patek is IMO the best for AC, a great PC if you have the funds is the Lange Datograph perpetual, here are 2 links for them, the platinum retail in Europe is 130K euros, here you have around 70K, and it's a stunning piece, saw one in real, my favorite is WG and grey dial, but PT is great, then in RG, I would like the 39mm Datograph but hope one day to have the WG perpetual, one of the best watches ever made IMO and at a super price for a mint one

You also have the 5960 which is a great choice, either in SS, RG or in PT, chrono and AC,
