Wrist size?

Hi all, I wanted to know something which intrigues me, before going on TRF I thought I had very, very small wrists, a little more than 17cm, in inches depending on my weight between 6.7 and 6.9.

When I got my RG 116515 Daytona I had to order the small strap as the normal one was way too big, for my Patek 5726 I could wear it but the deployant clasp was too much on the side and after 1 hour it was hurting as hell, so I also had to get the small strap from Patek.

In all my time here I never read someone getting a small strap for their watch, but I see that many members have 6.5 more or less, so my question is this, do you guys also have to order the special small straps or do you have another way of doing it, like having the "big" strap adjusted?

you are not alone, I have 6.3 inch wrists and have also owned a rg 116515 and needed the small strap. Had an Ap diver, also needed a small strap. Hell my rolex gmt 16750 I had to remove a permanent link on the 6 o'clock side to centre the clasp. Some of my Iwc's I punched holes into the straps to make them fit.

Andy, in fact for the 116515 I didn't get the small one but extra small really before being on TRF I thought I was in a minority and had tiny wrists, but it seems not I even have the impression that the 7 or less wrists are the majority in fact...

One thing that sucks is that you can't choose the strap size when you buy a watch, the Daytona croc strap wasn't awful, 295 euros, but the 5726 if you want both straps, the croc and the rubber one, 495 euros each, I just got the rubber one, I tried again not long ago to wear the croc, it is torture because the clasp pushes on your wrist where your artery passes

I had Pams and the original straps were either to the max or to one hole before the max, but at least I could put them, with Rolex and Patek nope...

I have 6.5 inch wrists. The only time I needed a short strap was with my JLC Master Calendar. Otherwise I've been fine so far. With Rolex, I remove 3 links and I'm good to go. With Panerai, I'm on the second to last hole.

I only wish my wrists were larger, Ideally 7 to 7.5 inches. It would open up the possibility of so many more watches.

Chris I have almost 7, 6.9 to be precise, and would also love to have around 7.5, I could get the AP ceramic diver which I find stunning, always wanted a ceramic watch, and the ones I like are the AP and Pams, but I went away from Pam as my tastes are more into smaller and thinner watches now

Love the ceramic Diver Arnaud! My favorite diver by far. I don't like the way it fits on me unfortunately.

6.75" flat here. Up to my RO FC Diver I feel comfortable, tried the ROO 44 RG which I love but sadly it felt too big.

7.5 flat wrist no strap issues thankfully...Just saying.

And no lug overhang so 42, 44, 47 bring em on.

I also have flat wrists but 44 Pams is the most I've gone size wise and that was before, tried a Pam 217 once and the thing was really huge for me, was fine if I wanted to wear only with long sleeves but with short sleeves not really...

6.5' flat, I can pull off 42mm but anything bigger looks weird, haven't had any trouble with straps yet.

7.5" and can wear 38mm-44mm fortunately! No lug problems either

6.5 here, only 38-41 mm watches wear good on me.
