My New Grand Seiko

Thanks to TRF for being such an excellent inspiration and resource, and thanks to the Seiko Boutique in New York City, I am very happy to be new and proud owner of Grand Seiko SBGR 073.
I love everything about this watch, including the way it "plays" with the sun, which makes it bit more difficult to photograph, but way more fun to enjoy.

Gorgeous watch, Marcela, congrats! Looks great on you. I love the hands, batons, touch of red and bezel combo along with that beautiful blue.

You are so very kind, thank you. I was originally little worried about the size, since my wrist is barely 6 inches "strong", but it seems to fit just fine, and overall it feels very good.

Congrats on your new acquisition - enjoy that blue sunburst dial, something Seiko do exceptionally well.

Awesomeness! Wow, cool pictures too!

Tried on a SBGR085 and the steel version of the limited edition 62GS, both are worth salivating over

Will be making a decision soon as to which one (possibly both?) to get

It is a special watch for me, and your kind words make even more charming.

Congratulations! I really like GS, and that blue dial is beautiful.

I didn't even know they made blue dials, I have only seen black & white.

Thank you, Constantine

Yes, there is actually another model with blue dial, and that is absolutely stunning spring drive system SBGA127. However, its size (40 mm) would be too big for my wrist.

Another not-white or not-black colored dial GS is gorgeous SBGJ 005.
So many amazing options :-)
