Build a Rolex
If a watchmaker has a Rolex parts account, he/she could build himself/herself a watch by ordering all necessary parts, right? Would that be cost effective since labor cost is saved?

I would guess not since I am sure parts are marked up such as on a car.

To my knowledge, some parts cannot be had without a trade-in.
Rolex has that scenario covered.

Sounds like an expensive way to go.
Building a cheap car from parts would probably cost you ten times more than buying one at the dealer. Rolex is also very restrictive on parts |
