Breguet Marine Royale
My fave model ever made by Breguet. It's called Marine Royale and Ref # 5847. It's one of the biggest cases in Breguet model line up as well. It's the biggest in Marine Series in 45 mm diameter case.
This watch also features a very cool stuff and it's chime or alarm clock. You just set the alarm unscrewing the lower button at 4 o'clock and let it sit onwhere you want. However, alarm indicator arrow, it's at 2 o'clock position in this watch, moves counter clockwise. It's not the loudest watch in terms of alarm sound but can be heard by anyone. Library safe? Probably you better turn it off when you are in such places or use it library At 10 o'clock position ,there is a reserve for alarm ,it can be set using the crown at 2 o'clock which you can also set pulling the crown outwards to set time, date, power reserve for alarm This watch is 300 meters water resistance with rotating bezel. The lume indicator V shaped at 12 o'clock has a big lume material and that's kinda big for a watch of this elegance. Not a downmark ,kinda nitpicking but I like it this way too No cerachrome bezel is available with this watch but characteristics of the numbers are executed brilliantly and suited well to the general characteristics of the watch Dial is not busy as Rolex watches, only model number lettering is adorning the dial. If it was a Rolex we could see Rolex Marine Royale verbiage or words on the dial .I like busy dials no matter what Alarm can be activate /deactivate using the button at the left hand side. When you see notes symbol 🔣 ,it means alarm is ready to chime ,when it's dark black under 12 o'clock the alarm is deactivated The box is also giving you an idea how haute horologie piece this watch is .It's all great in details such as there is a lid on top of the wood box to pull the watch box easier . Owners Manual also has 3 clips and all aligned perfectly .These are little details but in such hig end or haute horologie ,details are extremely important
