Was on a bit of a waiting list at the local AD, they called yesterday and said one arrived if I would like to take a look. I went down today and it was still in the shipping coffin, a bit of negotiation and I left with it on my arm.

Congrats! I'm surprised there was room for negotiation, but maybe you paid retail and got an extra polishing cloth? ;)
Funny, I catch myself thinking I have very little use for a second time zone, and the GMT is not on my list. But have I owned Submariner/SeaDweller models (yes) and gone diving?
Well, does fishing toys out of a bubble bath count?

No extra polishing cloth, I am in Canada and it seems easier to negotiate here. Came with the new green warranty tag and new 5 year warranty book as well. And yes, in my opinion, fishing toys out of the tub counts
