One thing about that rubber strap....

The last few weeks have been well hot here in France. I just spent 3 days wearing my 216570 Polar (which I love) and was reminded how sweaty I find the bracelet. I couldn't wait to get back to my Diver's rubber strap, which I wear slightly large and find much less sticky.

I now understand why PP call the Aquanaut's strap "tropical", and find myself (once again) pleasantly surprised by how much I love my Diver, and its supremely comfortable rubber strap....

It must be because I have only used cheap rubber straps, but I always find my wrist gets more sweaty and less comfortable with them verse the bracelet.

Either that, or it is just me.

No I think when it's cheap rubber it's not nice to wear in heat, but been wearing my diver in the Paris heat these last few days and it's been really hot and is really comfortable, I think it really depends on the rubber or the different materials used when it's not only rubber, the AP is perfect IMO, seems the tropical strap on the Patek 5167 is also great in heat, I too have had a few cheap rubber straps in the past and no comparison with the AP rubber

The diver is certainly a great watch. Wore mine at the beach this weekend and it was hot as hell. My rolex wouldn't have felt comfortable.

I am here in Charleston SC and it has been an unbearable few months. Every day highs in the mid to upper 90's. Had a few (actually more than a few) 100 degree days. My Polar bracelet does not let me forget the heat. I have a Tag AR on the Tag rubber and it is super comfortable in the heat.

Same here - spent a long hot weekend in Spain wearing my ROO on rubber and it was fantastically comfortable. Needed a good clean afterwards mind you. Sweat and sun lotion washed off and the watch looked brand new again....

Absolutely love the rubber strap on my 44mm , it feels so comfy while wet and it doesn't stick like a bracelet!

To me, the FC rubber strap (while very comfy) made my wrist sweat like crazy.

I absolutely love rubber as a watch strap. If it's hot I want rubber or nato.

The Diver is such a great watch! I know some love it on bracelet but I would never change out from the original rubber strap.
