Guys and gals,

Any recommendations to an AD in Toronto? Looking to buy a GMT II BLNR.

Also, what the usual discount?

I live in Toronto and only visit one AD a few times a year, they've never had a BLNR for over 48 hours.

You may want to call ahead.

I called around for you, Damiani in Woodbridge (about 35-40 mins north of Toronto) has one in stock as of right now. List Price is $9,600CAD. They won't talk discount over the phone, but they're usually pretty good. None of the ADs closer to the city had any in stock.

Wasn't that the list price before the price increase in March?? I thought new list was now 10,200 CAD for the BLNR.

List price for BLNR is 10,250.

Probably, I think 9600 is the price for regular GMT II and BLNR is 10200. Do they offer discounts?? I know the BLNR is not easy to come by in most places.

Trying to figure out if I can get a better discount with exchange rate. U.S. Dealers are only discounting 10-15%

Yes you should save a ton due to the favourable exchange rate

Exchange rate savings are nice, but tax + intl credit card fee (3%, depending) = not worth it.

No you are better off in the us at 10-15 off. You simply cannot avoid the 13% tax in Ontario. Frankly, 10-15 is very strong on a BLNR in the us, where taxes can more easily be mitigated.
