possible to tell if it is a 16800 or 168000?

Only if you have a serial number or look at the case engraving.

I'm no expert but something about that 4 in the date doesn't look quite right. Some of the vintage crew should be along to help though.

Well, with the certificate, box, cards and the country code, jewelers name etc, this would be a hard one.

If someone could prove the all this info, maybe the watch was indeed stolen.
