Any of the ladies here have AP

So in the quest of getting my Diver, my lovely wife now wants to get something with some sort of his and hers. Now I know there is obviously not an AP Diver ladies piece but she mainly meant to get AP's for the both of us. I already locked in on a Diver that I am picking up this week but there are barely any photos or wrist shots of the lady AP RO. Im looking at getting her the 33mm RO Quartz model. If any of you ladies or you gents with wives that have these pieces have any photos I would really really appreciate seeing them. Just for reference.

Yep. Got these two for us to wear on our wedding day. She's worn hers almost everyday since. She is not easy on it at all and it still looks great. Much better than her Rolex with a scratched and chipped crystal. I ended up putting the lady RO on a white rubber strap and small tang buckle so it was more secure and is easier to clean.

Awesome thank you. Is hers the 33mm?

Yes. 33mm Lady Royal Oak Automatic

It's a perfect size watch. Larger than a typical ladies watch but not masculine. She actually gets lots of compliments on it from her friends. They have no idea what what an AP is and probably assume its a Michael Kors. She really likes how versatile it is with different outfits and how it can fly under the radar when we travel.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Quartz 67620ST.OO.D010CA.01

Don't know if they have this version on a bracelet but they do make a bracelet for the lady RO 33mm so you could get it on a strap and buy the bracelet from APSC.

Awesome. Yea the Michael Kors thing you said is spot on. She wants one with the stainless bracelet and she isn't a fan of the diamonds because all her other watches have diamonds so mentioned she wanted something plain. I told her there is no "plain" AP hehe. I know they make the 33mm with no diamonds. I think its an older model because on the AP site all of them have diamonds on them. I was thinking of getting her the quartz model

DO NOT GET THE QUARTZ! sending back to APSC just for a battery change will get old, and they do take quite a bit of time to return your watch.

get her an automatic.

This is the main reason I went with the auto.

I would get her the lady RO automatic over the Rolex DJ any day. They are both autos and the AP is far more unique and prestigious for only a slight price increase (great value). I went through the same thought process a few years ago and the AP was the right purchase. Wife loves having something different than everyone else.

You may want to double check, but I thought they actually had to remove the movement in order to change the battery. That will take time and get expensive after the warranty expires.

After careful thinking. I like the input you guys have provided. My wife isn't super rough on watches but she isn't the most careful person either. She was also interested in a DJ, I love AP but I think for her first luxury piece I might start her out with the DJ and see how that goes. We'll see what she decides. I'll keep you updated
