Hello from Washington State

Good day to everyone. Been lurking for a while and thought I would introduce myself.

My Rolex obsession started back in the 80's with the 16803, so I bought a 16613 as a birthday gift to myself in the late 80's. Loved that piece and wore it for many years, but eventually traded it in and went through several Rolex models over a 10-15 year period (16622, 16523, 5513, 1675, 16610). A few years ago I tried a 116610 and just never really bonded with it and sold it about a year and a half ago. For the last couple of years I have been more fascinated with vintage pieces and had been looking for a birth year (66) 1675 in all original condition with gilt dial. Basically checking a few trusted sources everyday. Been hard to source the "perfect" one. So Monday I am doing my routine search and come across this beautiful 1999 16613. Nice mix with lug holes and SEL bracelet. So in essence I have come full circle with my Rolex addiction and I am back to my roots. I am still looking for that elusive 1675 but this one should scratch the itch at least for a while.

Thank you for being here and I look forward to becoming part of the community.

Thank you for the warm welcome.
Really debated on whether to go for another 16613. As I have matured I wear much more silver tones and lean to the vintage models, but I must say she feels right at home. Takes me back to the 80's...what I can remember of them.
Quick pick
