ROC vs. ROO

I've been thinking about trading in my RO on the new ROO Navy for quite some time now. I like the color combo and the bold styling of the offshore. However, over the past couple weeks I've been drawn to the ROC. It has that classic design with the added aesthetics of the sub dials and pushers. Plus, the ROC doesn't sit way off the wrist like the ROO does. My wrist can easily handle the 42mm of the ROO but I'm wondering if I will get tired of how tall it sits? I feel like it will be fine because I wear a G-Shock daily and it sits just as tall if not taller.

Also, I think I prefer the black vs. white face on the ROC but I'm not quite sure? I love the white/silver face of my RO but from the pictures I've seen, black looks better on the ROC.

I do have to throw in that I am an Auburn Tigers fan - another reason why I love the new Navy so much!

Lets see those votes!

My vote goes for the navy ROO as I donīt like the position of the date window on the ROC.

for you, ROO since you are flipping an RO you might as well go for a bigger contrast.

I generally prefer black dials on SS. I went with white on RG tho. I had a Diver and loved it but after so many Rolexes and wearing Pateks too, I now think it is a bit too thick for me, ROC is just right, slimmer but still rather muscular as an AP should be.

I think I would go for the black dial ROC as it is a watch that I have loved for a long time. The Navy ROO is a great reference too. I would get the navy ROO before the white dial ROC.

Make sure to take a look at the ROC white and black dials in person (on stainless).

They look a bit different in person. For example the black dial looks like it has white hands but they are actually chrome. The white dial in some pictures looks like it has black accents but its actually the chrome catching the light again!

Just make sure you see the in person before you pick 1 or the other.

IMO, the ROC manages to capture all the class of the Royal Oak line and deliver it with a sportier vibe. As for dial color, I voted black because of the SS bezel, but you might as well flip a coin. Both gorgeous.

Black ROC anyday.. It's a piece you can wear for formal and casual plus the shimmer of the royal oak bracelet is priceless..

I have a panda dial 26300 but I don't like the 26320 ROC. Out of your choices I would have to go with the navy.

I think that some of this depends on the rest of your collection and when you intend on wearing it. The ROCs will go with anything and even fit nicely under a cuff. Despite the great color scheme for your team, you may find that the blue strap doesn't go with all of you work outfits (but you may not care).

Hopefully my Badgers can hang one on Bama in a month. In any case, it will be nice to see Jerry's Palace.

Stadium is amazing, truly a modern day Coliseum.

However if you ait up too high, you will find it impossible to not watch everything happen on the jumbotron.

Nothing yet. Unfortunately there aren't any dealers in Atlanta so I cant even try them on at the same time. I am going to Boston next month so I'm going to do my best to stop into an AD up there that I found.

I dont really see a comparison. These 2 watches are not really the same. Its like me asking if I should buy a 911 or an S-Class.

I used to have this debate over and over and over. But after seeing the ROC and ROO in person, I decided I love the older ROO Panda the most.

Just my opinion but the ROC was a little underwhelming for me
