I was afraid this might happen
My wife has owned this ladies 26mm Oyster Perpetual TT for almost 10 years and she is very fond of it. Took her a while to realize it is so versatile and durable, but it is now a staple among her accessories.
Tonight she says "you know, women are wearing larger watches these days, and with all you have, I think I'd like your DateJust". Just like that... "I think I'd like your DateJust"! Well, looks like she's made up her mind, I'm sure I can find a replacement.

Congrats. At least she shares the same passion/hobby as you. I'd be excited if my wife ever say that.

Good for her. But now you have an excuse to get yourself another one.

Replacement or attorney lol
I'd have no clue what I would do if she started eyeing my 116619 or LVc

Tell her that she is the best woman ever and she deserves a new Rolex...
Don't think about it, just do it... and get the big one for you...

I've tried. My wife likes Rolex but the more I talk she doesn't have that passion.

I'm sure it'll look great on her! Any ideas for what watch will take it's place for you, if any?

I gifted my daughter a 36mm SS Datejust for her high school graduation. She didn't even think the Date was large enough. I'm sure it will have to be a 36mm DD for college graduation.

Happy wife, happy life. Nice piece that I think fits most ladies well without being over the top.

No kidding....nothing worse than asking your lady:
Man "hey hun, where do you wanta eat...." Woman "oh I don't know" Man "okay, so lets go here" Woman "no, not there" Man "ok, then where" Woman "oh, I don't know" As for the op, this an awesome development, new watch tiiiime......for you. The missus gets what she wants and you get what you want, win win. Gotta read between the lines, know what I mean. |

Your wife is going to love wearing the larger 36mm. I recently made the switch myself, after wearing the 26mm size for over 14 years and couldn't be happier.
