Would you buy an Explorer dial like this? Do they Sell them?

I have always like this type of dial, not sure if they are aftermarket or rolex direct. I am not sure what the name is but it reads rolex rolex rolex all across the dial. I have seen them sell for the GMT, Subs, DJ,DD but never an explorer.

Curious to all you explorer owners would you buy a dial like this if they made one?

I did a quick photoshop job to see what it would look to have a dream dial in an explorer II

On a side note if they make them any idea where to buy?

I have never seen one on an explorer before so I don't know if it's possible to get one for it. If you did I think you would have to get an independent watch maker to put it in for you as I believe Rolex will only put in dials that were originally an option on a specific watch.

When my wife got her DJ31 she really liked this dial in pictures.. then she saw it in person. In the end it was to much and took away from the classic look of the watch

I think it looks good and would certainly be a good way to spiff up an Explorer II, including the PCLs, and create a unique watch.

Finding a 40mm Jubilee dial would probably the the most daunting task.

I've never seen one on an Explorer, but I am not an expert. That one also seems to have the words line up a little different than the ones I've seen on DJs, etc. It is a bit hard to tell from the angle of the photo though.

In any case, I have never liked that dial at all. Far too busy, and I don't need to scream "IT'S A ROLEX!" which is how that dial always struck me. Same reason I don't care for the Louis Vuitton leather goods with the "LV" logos all over them.

Jubilee dials were not available for the Exp II and so I would want some research into this watch..

The bracelet also appears to be aftermarket or counterfeit.

The watch is authentic I purchased it from a jeweler with papers.

I photo shopped the dial graphics on there and as far as the bracelet I had the center links polished..Its all original ROLEX parts on this watch.

The Jubilee dial isn't the most popular dial around and that might account for the negative comments - it's not for everybody....

What would look good is an early Pyramid dial...

Yeah I like those pyramid dials to. I would be cool if there were option for explorer II dials. I would also like a green dial. Since my birthstone is an emerald.

Probably will never happen. Just kinda dreaming ya know.
