Pics request
Hi all, I am planning my future third watch to have IMO the perfect trio, and I think I am going RG on the next one, the 4 contenders are AP ROO, Jumbo and skeleton, and PP Aquanaut and 5711, what do you think would go the best with my duo and which are you favorites between these 5?
Also I understand that on the Patek I can expect almost 0 discount, what is the discount I can expect on the AP pieces, knowing I got 10% on my diver and usually on gold pieces a bigger discount is usually possible? I like all but there are a few favorites, the 44mm for example, really love the piece but not sure I can pull off 44mm, the Aqua I really like but the price seems a little too much for what it is, would love the 5711 if the dial was blue, afraid I might get tired of the brown dial, prefer the brown like dial of the 5980-1R but that piece is not in my financial comfort zone, love the Jumbo in RG, well at least on pics, will try to get to see it in Paris when I come back, the skeleton is quite cool but also need to see it in real, didn't like a lot the SS skeleton to be honest... Thanks in advance guys |

I will say the RG Skeleton but then I am bias bec I got one.
On a serious note, try all of them before you buy to make sure you are OK with their looks and fit / comfort etc. I think all four are strong contenders. |

44 RG if it's not too big, otherwise the skeleton.

Your love of the 44mm is infectious. I've worn and appreciated mine so much more since seeing your pictures and praise for it. It truly is one of the best watches ever made.

I tried the RG Jumbo on earlier this year. It gets my vote amongst your other contenders. Seems like you should be able to pick one up around $38k from what I've seen. The dial seems very dark blue against the RG. TBO I thought this would be my next piece until I tried on the SS Jumbo but since you already have the extremely light 5712, the RG Jumbo for sure.

If your wrist can pull off the 44mm I would get that. If not I would go with the skeleton.

the 44 is my favorite, love RG and ceramic, need to try it, if it's good on me I'll get it, if not I think it will be between jumbo and skeleton, both are great and I seem to prefer them to the PP's

I would love to have the RG schumi but don't think that will happen, so the 44 regular would be great also...

I am left with the same thoughts in aquiring a gold piece. I narrowed it down to the AP 44RG when my bank account is ready! I think you could pull it off as well!

I think the 44 will be too large as you suspect based on prior wrist shorts.
1. Jumbo 2. Skeleton, does this come on brac? That 5711 is pretty hard to ignore but brown is iffy for the LT as you suggest in a small collection so I think smart to be cautious there. |

Maybe it's because it's the new kid on the block But the 5711/1r just ticks all the boxes for me.

Would have to see the 5711r to make proper judgement but until then, I vote 15202or.

The RG skeleton would be a cool addition, and it would give you a watch on leather, one on a bracelet, and one on rubber.
I think the RG 44 is something VERY special. But you have said in past posts that you no longer like big and heavy watches; this watch is both and may prove uncomfortable for you in the long run. I think my pick based on what I've read in your posts would be the RG Jumbo. It's something very different from what you already own; and IMO, you are missing out on not having a RO bracelet. I think they are the BEST in the game, and it's not even close. It also gives you an elegant and slim time only watch. If you try one on, you may instantly fall in love.

If you want something w more wrist presence, 5980 in rose gold w bracelet would be my choice.
Or For that lower profile, 15202R

Well Arnaud, 5711-1R stole my heart. Love the 5980R too, both have just about the same brown dial too. 5711 was absolutely beautiful yet so light and slim, weighs like an SS Rolex, incredible, 5980R was a lot heavier. I will put up more pics in a thread tomorrow.
