Come full circle

The first nice watch I ever got was a gift from my wife. My fiancé at the time, she gifted me an Air-King shortly after we got engaged. I wore it religiously for about seven years. During that time I got the watch bug and started buying/selling others. In a state of madness I thought it was a good idea to flip the AK for a DJii. It didn't take long to regret that decision. (Not to mention the evil glares I get anytime I wore the DJ, which led me to eventually flip that one also) I just recently came across a brand new Oyster Perpetual 114200 which except for no longer having Air-King on the dial is the exact same watch I sold a few years ago. I surprised my wife with it as a gift to her. I'm hoping she will proudly wear it knowing it's a gift we have both given and received (and maybe let me put it back on the wrist here and there).

You flipped a watch with sentimental value and you only got evil glares from her? You got off easy...

It was for sure not the best decision I've ever made. But at least I have the watch back!

Sorry, but it's NOT the same watch she gave you.
